Amelia Drive Businesses Vandalized

Poet's Corner Press and other businesses on Amelia Drive were vandalized at some point late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning.

Nate Roberts, owner of Poet's Corner Press, posted photos of the damage to his business, where windows had been shattered by some sort of projectile. Roberts said the Nantucket Police Department is investigating.

While at first he suspected the damage was from a pellet or BB gun, Roberts now believes the windows were shattered by a ball bearing fired from a slingshot-type device. He is asking anyone with information or cameras pointed toward Amelia Drive to come forward to assist with the investigation.
