This week's Current Court Report includes arraignments and dispositions from Monday's Nantucket District Court session.

After being continued without a finding for 18 months, Gregorio A. Chavez, 28, of Nantucket had May 7, 2022 charges of larceny under $1,200 and breaking & entering a building in the nighttime for a felony, as well as a May 8, 2022 charge of breaking & entering a building in the nighttime for a felony dismissed.

A warrant was issued for the arrest of Cody G. Fenstermaker, 33, of Key West, Florida for a failing to appear in court for an arraignment session on Dec. 14, 2023 charges of abandoning a boat, failing to apply for a boat title, and operating a boat without a boating ID. Fenstermaker was identified as the owner of the infamous boat in the harbor just off first point, which you can read more about here.

Juan C. Hernandez Tejada, 38, of Nantucket was arraigned on April 17 charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and a marked lanes violation. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court June 3 for a pretrial hearing.

Marcus Murray, 53, of Nantucket was arraigned on April 19 charges of assault & battery on a person over 60 years old, assault & battery on a family/household member, and an April 22 charge of violating an abuse prevention order. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court June 11 for a pretrial hearing.

Jose Francisco Vilorio Mosquea, 49, of Nantucket was ordered to complete six months of pretrial probation on Aug. 15, 2023 charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of personal injury, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and a marked lanes violation. If Vitoria Mosquea completes his probation without a violation, the charges will be dismissed.
