This week’s Current Court Report includes arraignments and dispositions from the Monday and Tuesday Nantucket District Court sessions.
William J. Burns, 29, of Lincoln, was arraigned on July 30 charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and a marked lanes violation. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court Sept. 16 for a pretrial hearing.
Julia Dyson, 18, of Riviera Beach, Florida was arraigned on Aug. 3 charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, improper turn, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, possessing a forged document, and possession of a false RMV document. She had not-guilty pleas entered on her behalf and was ordered to return to court Sept. 6 for a pretrial hearing.
Galisa M. Francis, 35, of Nantucket, was arraigned on Aug. 5 charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, and leaving the scene of property damage. She had not-guilty pleas entered on her behalf and was ordered to return to court Aug. 13 for a pretrial hearing.
Eric Miguel Gotay Rodriguez, 26, of Nantucket, was arraigned on a June 17 charge of receiving stolen property under $1,200. He had a not-guilty plea entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court Aug. 13 for a pretrial hearing.
After pleading guilty to a March 7, 2021 charge of violating an abuse prevention order and completing one year of probation without a violation, Breck Holdredge, 36, of Wakefield, Rhode Island had his probation terminated.
Michael Holdgate, 56, of Nantucket, pleaded guilty to an Oct. 30 charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol (second offense). He was ordered to complete one year of probation, complete a 14-day inpatient program, forfeit his license for 45 days, and pay $350 in fees. A negligent operation of a motor vehicle charge stemming from the same incident was dismissed as part of the plea.

Charles R. Manville, of Nantucket, was found not-guilty in a jury trial on charges of vandalizing property, malicious destruction of property under $1,200, and malicious damage to a motor vehicle.
Miladiz Murcia de Carranza, 48, of Nantucket, was arraigned on Aug. 4 charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, and failure to stop/yield. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court Aug. 13 for a pretrial hearing.
After being continued without a finding for six months, Devon Murphy, 49, of Nantucket had a Jan. 26, 2023 charge of assault & battery dismissed.
Luan Santos Ferreira, 25, of Nantucket had March 17 charges of assault & battery and strangulation dismissed after the alleged victim in the case declined to cooperate with prosecutors.
