This week's Current Court Report includes arraignments and dispositions from the Monday and Tuesday Nantucket District Court sessions. This week is jury week, so there will be cases all week in court.

After being continued without a finding for six months, Bradley Marshall Barry, 33, of Nantucket, had an April 15, 2022 charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle dismissed.

Christopher Thomas Grimes, 50, of Nantucket, had a Feb. 25, 2022 charge of assault dismissed due to lack of prosecution.

Kedrick K. Pleasant, 45, of Nantucket, was found not guilty on an Aug. 2, 2022 charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and found guilty on a negligent operation of a motor vehicle charge stemming from the same incident. Pleasant was ordered to complete six months of probation with no fees attached.

Manuel Omar Portillo Rivera, 25, of Nantucket, had a Sept. 1, 2022 charge of assault and battery dismissed due to lack of prosecution.

Jason E. Thomas, 46, of Nantucket, had May 26, 2022 charges of assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon dismissed due to lack of prosecution.
