This week's Current Court Report includes arraignments and dispositions from Monday's Nantucket District Court session.
Timothy Forbes Bigelow, 35, of Boston, will have a Sept. 4, 2021 charge of assault and battery on a person 60+/disabled with an injury continued without a finding for one year on the condition he pay $425 in restitution, comply with random drug and alcohol testing, undergo a substance abuse evaluation and enroll in any treatment deemed necessary, stay away and have no contact with the victim, and return at a later date for a restitution hearing where he may be required to pay additional costs to the victim.
Charges of breaking and entering a building in the nighttime for a felony and possessing a class B drug stemming from the same incident were dismissed.
Jose Deras Chinchilla, 33, of Nantucket, will have a Jan. 13 charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle continued without a finding for one year on the condition he pay a $250 head-injury fee and $50 victim-witness fee.
A charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol stemming from the same incident was dismissed.
Victoria Paige Ewing, 49, of Nantucket, had a Nov. 21, 2020 charge of larceny by check over $1,200 dismissed to due lack of prosecution.
Omar Fraser, 45, of Nantucket, was arraigned on a June 21 charge of assault and battery on a. family/household member. He had a not-guilty plea entered on his behalf and bail on this case was set at $100 while his bail on two separate open cases which include charges such as assault and battery on a family/household member, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, threatening to commit a crime, and disturbing the peace was revoked.
Fraser is currently being held in the Barnstable House of Corrections and is scheduled to appear in court next on July 12 for a jury trial assignment session.
