Current Court Report - May 27, 2025

This week's Current Court Report includes arraignments and dispositions from Tuesday's Nantucket District Court session.

Ellen Hope, 59, of Nantucket was arraigned on a Sept. 3, 2024 charge of leaving the scene of property damage. She had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court July 21 for a pretrial hearing.

John Montgomery, 29, of Nantucket was arraigned on a May 25 charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. He had a not-guilty plea entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court June 23 for a pretrial hearing.

Nicole Pelrine, 32, of Dunstable was arraigned on May 25 charges of possessing a Class A drug, trafficking cocaine over 36 grams but less than 100 grams, and inhaling a glue/toxic substance. She had not-guilty pleas entered on her behalf and had bail set at $1,000 cash, $10,000 surety. You can read the full story on this incident here.

Kedrick Pleasant, 47, of Nantucket pleaded guilty to an April 26, 2024 charge of possessing a Class B drug. He was ordered to complete one year of probation, remain drug and alcohol free with screens, pay a $50 victim-witness fee, and must remain employed with verification.

Nazair T. Thompson, 22, of Nantucket was arraigned on a May 24 charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. He had a not-guilty plea entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court June 23 for a pretrial hearing.
