First Lady Jill Biden Back On Nantucket This Weekend

Don't be surprised if you notice heightened security around certain places on the island this Friday and Saturday.

That's because First Lady Jill Biden will be back on Nantucket this weekend, multiple sources told the Current.

Biden, who was on the island just last November for the family's annual Thanksgiving visit, will be attending a fundraiser to support the Democratic Grassroots Victory Fund. The brunch reception is being held at an undisclosed private residence on the island.

It's not clear where Biden will be staying Friday night.

During her visit to Nantucket last November, the First Lady stopped by Coast Guard Station Brant Point with President Biden, and was spotted all around the downtown area before the tree lighting ceremony on Main Street, including the Tap Room, and also visited Slip 14 on Old South Wharf after some shopping.
