Cape Air has announced a leadership transition as Linda Markham, the airline's chief executive officer, retired after more than 23 years of service with the company.

Markham's successor, Mike Migliore, has been appointed president & chief executive officer of Cape Air. He previously served as the airline's chief financial officer, helping guide Cape Air's financial strategy, long‑term planning, and operational growth over the past 15 years.

“After an incredible chapter leading Cape Air, I’m retiring as CEO with deep gratitude for the team, partners, and communities that made the journey so meaningful. It’s been an honor to work alongside such dedicated people and to help connect so many places and passengers along the way,” Markham said in a statement. “I’m thrilled to congratulate Mike on stepping into the role of CEO. Mike’s leadership, vision, and commitment to Cape Air’s mission make him the perfect person to guide the company into its next chapter. Wishing him every success as he leads the team forward.”

In conjunction with the transition, Casey Stone will assume the role of chief financial officer. Stone previously served as vice president of finance and has been with the company for 15 years.
