Coast Guard Station Brant Point Rescues Disabled Fishing Vessel

A crew from Coast Guard Station Brant Point is currently towing the disabled 68-foot fishing vessel “Lil T N Willy” after it lost power Wednesday morning 15 nautical miles east of Great Point off Nantucket.

Station Brant Point’s 47-foot motor life boat will tow the vessel to a mooring in Nantucket Sound, according to executive petty officer Jeff Wecal.

There are four fishermen aboard the Lil T N Willy, and no injuries were reported.
