Four Miacomet Golf Course Greens Vandalized

We like to find donuts on Sparks Avenue at the Downyflake, not on the greens of Miacomet.

The Miacomet Golf Course was the victim of some overnight vandalism discovered Wednesday morning. The greens at holes 1, 2, 12, and 13 suffered damage from what appears to be individual(s) on electric bikes doing wheelies.

“Looks like an electric bike with fat tires. It’s a long summer and now the greens department had this to fix,” Miacomet Golf Course General Manager Sean Oberly told the Current. “Very disheartening.”

Police were dispatched at 5:45 a.m. to evaluate the scene. The investigation remains ongoing, and the course’s administrators are continuing to work towards fixing the damage. It is believed that two individuals are responsible for this vandalism.
