Missing 19-Year-Old Located In Cambridge

Carlando Panton, the 19-year-old who was reported missing on Nantucket on July 23, has been located in Cambridge, Mass.

“Carlando was located at 1:48 a.m. this morning by the Cambridge Police Department,” Nantucket Police announced Saturday morning. “We assisted in connecting Carlando with his family through the Cambridge Police Department. At this time he has been removed as a missing person in the nationwide database. Nothing further.”

A week after Panton was reported missing on the island by his family, the Nantucket Police Department Detective Unit confirmed that the 19-year-old traveled to the mainland aboard the Seastreak ferry to New Bedford on July 23rd.

Island detectives determined that Panton boarded the Seastreak ferry at 4:30 p.m. on July 23rd, just hours before he was reported missing by his family.
