Nantucket Cottage Hospital Announces Special Guest For 2024 Boston Pops Fundraising Concert

Nantucket Cottage Hospital on Wednesday announced the special musical guest for the 27th annual Boston Pops fundraising concert: the Neil Diamond tribute band "Super Diamond."

The Boston Pops on Nantucket concert at Jetties Beach is the hospital's largest annual fundraiser and has been the biggest event of the summer season on the island for nearly three decades.

The hospital also announced Wednesday that the co-chairs of the event will be Erin and Jamie Siminoff, and that best-selling author Elin Hilderbrand will host the event.

Super Diamond, featuring "Surreal Neil," is a tribute to the singer, songwriter, and performer, American pop icon Neil Diamond. The tribute band has appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman, CNN, VH1, Comedy Central and has been featured in publications like Rolling Stone, Spin, and The New York Times.

“We are honored to be the co-chairs of the 27th annual Pops on Nantucket. It is always a great event, and it is such an important cause. Super Diamond and the Pops are going to put on an amazing show,” event co-chairs Erin and Jamie Siminoff said in the hospital's announcement today.

The Boston Pops on Nantucket, which is presented by White Elephant Resorts and Jill and Stephen Karp, and sponsored by Fidelity Investments, typically draws upwards of 6,000 to 8,000 people to Jetties Beach for the annual event. This year's concert is set for Saturday, Aug. 10th.
