Nantucket Yoga Festival Returning As The Happy Place Wellness Symposium In June

After a five-year hiatus, The Nantucket Yoga Festival is returning with a new name, a new message, a new venue, and a mission to empower attendees to create a blueprint for a happier and healthier life.

The festival is being resurrected as The Happy Place Wellness Symposium, a reimagination of The Nantucket Yoga Festival, and will take place this June 21st and June 22nd at The Dreamland Theatre.

This new two-day event will bring global thought leaders, teachers and movement practitioners into the three unique spaces at The Dreamland "to create a transformative weekend for all those seeking community, connection and consciousness."

Joann Burnham and Ted Burnham of Dharma Yoga Nantucket, who were the founders of the original Nantucket Yoga Festival, alongside author, entrepreneur, and meditation advocate Holly Ruth Finigan, have joined forces to bring back the festival to the island under their new venture Happy Place Events.

In honor of heart month, tickets go on sale today, February 14th.

Happy Place Events has partnered with The Beachside Hotel to offer discounted lodging and to house their visiting teachers and speakers for the event. Marine Home Center has also signed on as a sponsor to bring "global keynote speakers whose themes include Blue Zones, women’s hormones, science, spirituality, yoga, meditation and cultural awakenings."
