Photo Gallery: 2025 Red Ticket Drawing

Island residents gathered Wednesday afternoon amid snow flurries for the annual Red Ticket Drawing on Main Street on Christmas Eve.

People had been collecting red tickets from participating island merchants over the past month, with every $25 spent earning them one ticket for a chance to win one of five $1,000 prizes, or the grand prize of $5,000.

This year’s grand prize winner was island attorney Jesse Bell. “I can’t believe it,” Bell told the Current. “I never win anything.”
