Photo Gallery: Fiona's Fury

As Hurricane Fiona passed hundreds of miles to the east off Nantucket, the intense storm system churned up enormous surf along the island's south shore. Residents hit the beaches to watch the waves, while a few brave surfers tried to ride them. Photographer Kit Noble headed to Nobadeer and captured the massive surf in spectacular fashion. "Been photographing waves for years and never have I had a session like this," Noble wrote over the weekend. "Thank you Hurricane Fiona!"
