The 13th annual Bluefin Blast tuna fishing tournament attracted 37 boats from Nantucket and around the region. Combined, they hooked 250 bluefins during the one-day event. While the tournament is primarily catch-and-release, many of the boats did return to the Nantucket Boat Basin with one of their tunas that was over the tournament minimum length. Photographer Tucker Finerty was there to capture the sights at the weigh-in station next to the Nantucket Angler's Club, and shared these photos with the Current.
