Red Ticket Winners Announced On Christmas Eve

Hundreds of island residents gathered on Main Street on Christmas Eve for the Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce's annual Red Ticket Drawing.

The drawing is organized by the Chamber to encourage Nantucketers to shop local for during the holiday season and to promote the sustainability of island commerce. Participating businesses give out one red ticket for every $25 spent. At 3pm on December 24^th, the five lucky winners of $1,000, and 1 extra-lucky winner of $5,000 were chosen at random from the multitude of tickets. And the winners are…
