PHOTOS: Snow Day On Nantucket

Nantucket transformed into a winter wonderland on Tuesday, as a coastal storm that began as rain quickly changed over to snow, bringing the island about four inches before heading offshore.

Schools were closed, boats were canceled, and Nantucket finally got accumulating snow as the nor’easter that was originally predicted to hit Boston shifted south at the last moment.
