Three Minors Escape Rollover Accident On Miacomet Road Unscathed

Three minors emerged unscathed from a rollover crash on Miacomet Road Saturday night, managing to avoid any significant injuries.

Nantucket Police and Nantucket Fire Department EMTs rushed to the scene of the accident just before 9 p.m. and found a Geo Tracker rolled onto its side and partially into the brush along the dirt portion of Miacomet Road leading to Miacomet Beach. The Tracker was the only vehicle involved in the crash, and appeared to have rolled over as it was traveling northeast back toward Surfside Road.

The three occupants were taken by ambulance to Nantucket Cottage Hospital to be evaluated, but none of them suffered any significant injuries according to first responders at the scene.

Multiple Nantucket Police Department cruisers, two Nantucket Fire Department ambulances and other personnel all responded to the scene. The vehicle will be towed away. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
