Nantucket Commission On Disability Supports Article 12

To the editor: The Nantucket Commission on Disability strongly supports the proposed new High School stadium. Unlike the current bleachers, this new facility will be 100 percent wheelchair accessible. It will provide accessible pathways to the seating areas and access to restrooms and concession areas.

For the first time everyone, including our elderly and disabled family members, will be able to attend sporting events and High School graduation.

Please vote “Yes” on Article 12.
