Placemate Seeking Participation In Year-Round Rental Preservation Program Survey

To the editor: Placemate is excited to dive deeper on Nantucket, collaborating with the Affordable Housing Trust (AHT) as they consider launching a year-round rental preservation program. Since 2023, we have partnered with organizations across Nantucket, including Housing Nantucket, ACK Now Community Initiatives, and the AHT, on Lease to Locals – the year-round, affordable rental conversion program. We are thrilled to be expanding our focus.
The year-round rental preservation program would provide existing landlords a multi-year incentive to continue renting year-round to local tenants. We are conducting a survey with landlords on Nantucket to understand if they would be interested in participating and will use their input to help design the program.
The survey should take less than five minutes to complete, and you can access it here through Thursday, Nov 20. If you are a landlord on Nantucket renting to year-round tenants, please take a moment to complete it.
