Planning Board Chair Thanks Island Voters

To the editor: Thank you to the voters at Town Meeting for supporting the Planning Board motions on zoning bylaw and map change articles. These articles advanced initiatives from the Master Plan, complex statutory changes, and federal mandates.

Significant time and thought went into the formation of these articles by staff and the recommendations contained within the final motions presented by the Board. Public input and collaboration are essential to shaping the future of our community and I encourage your participation during the many public hearings we will hold in advance of the next Town Meeting.
