Senior Expo Organizers Thankful For Successful Event
Mary Anne Easley and Brenda Johnson •
To the editor: The 2025 Senior Expo, held October 18 at Nantucket High School, drew more than 215 people, including 46 vendors of services for seniors and six speakers on topics related to health, money, security, housing, and elder law.
Two dozen volunteers contributed their time, ingenuity, and energy, setting up, registering attendees, directing and connecting people, and cleaning up afterward. Thanks to Superintendent Dr. Hallett for providing the venue and to the school’s outstanding staff for their assistance. We’re grateful to Stop & Shop and Nantucket Rotary for prizes, to Roast’d CEO Jon Zack for refreshments, to the Health Department for flu and Covid shots, and to Bill and Kim Puder of Faregrounds restaurant for tablecloths.
Thanks to all who contributed so that we can keep the tradition of the Senior Expo vibrant, encouraging seniors, their families and caregivers to continue to thrive in our community.
