Daffodil Weekend is the first signature weekend of the season, signaling the start of the spring and summer season on the island.
On Saturday morning just after 9 a.m., 110 antique cars lined up on Main Street decked out in different themes. At noon, the cars did a lap around town before departing via Orange Street for the parade that takes everyone down to Sconset for the annual picnic this afternoon.
The Current went around to ask people what their favorite part of the weekend is and spoke to some car owners to learn more about their vehicles and car themes.
