N Magazine Names Brian Bushard As New Editorial Director

N Magazine on Tuesday named Brian Bushard as its new editorial director.

Bushard comes to N Magazine from Forbes, where he covered congressional and presidential campaigns, environmental policy, and sea-level rise, as well as Wall Street and multiple high-profile criminal cases for a national audience. 

Bushard has also freelanced for the Nantucket Current and N Magazine, and previously lived on Nantucket year-round, writing for The Inquirer and Mirror, where he covered town government, the environment, and the arts. 

“We are excited to have Brian join our team and expect him to take N Magazine to an even higher level," publisher Bruce A. Percelay said. "Having someone who knows Nantucket as well as him, combined with his experience with national publications, is a perfect fit for us.”

Bushard is a graduate of The University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and previously produced for WMUA in Amherst, Massachusetts, and NPR/WBUR's news shows Only a Game and Radio Boston.
