Dancers of all ages took the stage Saturday afternoon at the Mary P. Walker Auditorium for the Nantucket Community School's annual DanceWorks recital.

This year's performance was highlighted by a tribute to lead DanceWorks instructor Kelly Corbett, who is retiring from the program after 15 years. Corbett, who taught hundreds of island kids during her time leading the dance program, was joined on stage at the end of Saturday's program by current and former students who gathered to thank her and wish her well.

The DanceWorks program offers creative movement, pre-ballet, ballet, tap, and Irish step classes to island students, culminating each year in May with a recital.
