This week’s Current Real Estate Roundup includes property transfers from July 18, 2024 to July 25, 2024. It is led by the sale of a pair of Davkim Lane properties for over $9 million, a Madaket Road property for over $4 million, and a West Dover Street property for over $2 million.
10 and 12 Davkim Lane for $9,500,000 from Davkim Smiley LLC to DXD SS Fund II Nantucket Propco LLC. The property is .61 acres, a dwelling, and a Land Bank fee of $190,000 was paid. The assessed value of the property is $1,820,700.
This property was previously owned by Core Investments, which is located on Boylston Street in Boston and specializes in acquiring and redeveloping urban mixed-use and commercial buildings. The company submitted plans on May 1, 2023 to develop a new 57,000 square foot storage facility.
The buyers are DXD.Capital, a real estate and private equity firm that focuses on self-storage, real estate development, and fund management services. They have revealed plans for a 1.2-acre facility that will be comprised of 667 units – with a net rentable square footage of 74,315 and a total gross square footage of 96,205.
“The vastly affluent community of Nantucket, combined with exceptional occupancy and high barriers to entry all contribute to the attractiveness of this project,” the company says.
