2024 Spring Sports Seasons Underway

Goodbye winter and hello spring. The 2024 Nantucket High School spring sports seasons begin today. Teams will practice throughout the week with games set to begin later this month.

The high school teams representing Nantucket are baseball, softball, boys lacrosse, girls lacrosse, boys tennis, girls tennis, sailing (which began practices last week), and track & field. The Current will be out and about taking photos throughout the first week of practices.

To access the baseball schedule, click here. Their first game is scheduled for Saturday, March 30th on the road against Martha’s Vineyard at 1 p.m.

To access the softball schedule, click here. Their first game is scheduled for Thursday, March 28th on the road against Mashpee at 4 p.m.

To access the boys lacrosse schedule, click here. Their first game is scheduled for Saturday, March 30th on the road against Martha’s Vineyard at 1 p.m.

To access the girls lacrosse schedule, click here. The girls will have a pair of scrimmages this weekend. Their first regular season game will be Thursday, March 28th on the road against Plymouth North at 3:30 p.m.

To access the boys tennis schedule, click here. Their first match will be on Saturday, March 30th at 1 p.m. when they travel to Martha’s Vineyard.

To access the sailing schedule, click here. Their first regatta is currently scheduled for Tuesday, April 2nd on the road against Barnstable at a time to be determined.
