The boys tennis team went on the road Monday afternoon and took care of business against the Bishop Connolly Cougars, winning the match 4-1. The Whalers are now 1-2 this season.

Top singles player Quinn Keating drew a tough matchup per usual. He lost in straight sets 2-6, 1-6.

But Nantucket had a strong showing all the way down aside outside of that one match. Boyan Kalpazanov lost the first set 4-6 but bounced back with back-to-back 6-0, 6-0 sets to win the second singles matchup.

Henry Kathawala, who left his April 4 matchup frustrated and feeling as if he left a win on the table, bounced back in a big way with a straight set victory that didn't come easily. He won both sets 6-4, 6-4.

Nik Krastev and Hunter Gross continued their early season domination on Monday with a straight set victory of 6-0, 6-0.

Aidan Sullivan and Hawkin Edwardes have also developed into a solid pairing. They were Nantucket's second doubles team and won their match in straight sets 6-0, 6-2.

The Whaler's next match is Wednesday, April 12 at 4 p.m. when they host the St. John Paul II Lions at 4 p.m.
