Girls Lacrosse Ranked Fourth, Boys Ranked Eighth In Latest MIAA Tournament Brackets

The MIAA released their latest power rankings Thursday afternoon for boys and girls lacrosse. While the rankings are not yet final, these latest rankings are good indicators of where the boys and girls lacrosse teams will be placed within their respective tournament brackets.
The girls lacrosse team is currently #4 in their bracket after finishing their season with a 15-4 record. If these rankings are made official, they will host 8-10 Winthrop High School in Round 1.
As for the boys, they are currently #8 in their bracket after finishing their season 9-9. Thanks to a difficult schedule the Whalers played, they received significant points and consideration for that. If these rankings prove to be accurate, the boys would host 4-14 Bellingham High School in their Round 1 matchup.
