Photo Gallery: 10th Annual Run For Robin 5K

The 10th annual Run For Robin 5K took place Sunday morning at the Sconset Casino with over 700 participants signing up for the event.

The race began nearly 10 years ago following the tragic death of Robin Harvey, who was struck by a vehicle while out running on Milestone Road as she was training for the Boston Marathon in early 2015.

The race raises money for The Harvey Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides scholarships and other initiatives for deserving student athletes who are moving on to further their education post-high school.

A vast majority of these scholarship funds come from this 5K. Each participant was given a medal to commemorate the 10 year anniversary of the race. A cookout was held at the casino after the runners completed the race.
