Photo Gallery: Cheerleaders State Tournament Halftime Show

The Whaler cheerleading team made the 140 mile trip along with the football team for the state tournament game at Pentucket Regional High School Friday afternoon, and they put on one last halftime performance this season in the 35-15 defeat that ended the football team's season.

The team will reassemble for the winter sports season and partake in some cheer competitions - the first time they have done so since pre-COVID, and also cheer at some home basketball games. The fall cheer team had 15 cheerleaders. In an informal meeting late last month, over 30 students arrived and expressed interest in cheering this winter.
