The Nantucket Football Team attended the annual Joseph L. Viera Fund jacket ceremony & dinner Friday night, with Bill & Kim Puder getting their own custom designed jackets.

This fund was set up by Diane O’Neil in honor of Whaler football alum Joe Viera, who passed away in 2008.

Head coach Tim Psaradelis addressed the team prior to assistant coach Vaughan Machado’s annual speech and explanation as to what these jackets mean.

“There’s a lot of things going on in this world where a lot of people are alone. You are not alone,” Psaradelis said, telling his players that they will always have these coaches, and each other, in their corner moving forward.
