Photo Gallery: Public Open Skate With NHS Boys Hockey Team

While sports are in a bit of a standstill amidst the holiday break, teams have had the opportunity to take a breather ahead of what will be a busy two months of sporting events.

In the meantime, the Nantucket Hockey Foundation hosted a free open skate at the Nantucket Ice Rink Wednesday evening to give the public a chance to skate with the Whaler boys varsity hockey team.

Members of the public, as well as members of the player’s families, attended and were able to unwind on the ice before the Whalers host Framingham on Saturday, December 30th at 2 p.m.
