Photos: Football & Field Hockey Partake In Weekend Scrimmages

The Nantucket football and field hockey teams played scrimmages over the weekend as they prepare for their regular seasons. The field hockey team beat Barnstable 4-1 on Friday and won three of four games over the weekend in the Cape.

The football team played North Reading at Vito Capizzo Stadium in what was a scrimmage using half of the field. No score was kept. The offensive and defensive units got 10 plays each before switching it up.

The football team will have another scrimmage on Saturday, August 31 at home against Brighton at 10:45 a.m.
