Current Court Report - April 14, 2026

This week's Current Court Report includes arraignments and dispositions from the Monday Nantucket District Court session.

Rachel Estepa, 37, of Nantucket was arraigned on an April 12th charge of assault & battery on a family/household member. She had a not-guilty plea entered on her behalf and was ordered to return to court June 16th for a pretrial hearing.

Alexander D. Karis, 52, of Nantucket was arraigned on October 2, 2025 charges of leaving the scene of property damage, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and failure to stop/yield. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court May 26 for a pretrial hearing.

Yesser Alejandro Lopez, 24, of Nantucket was arraigned on April 11th charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and a marked lanes violation. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court June 8th for a pretrial hearing.

Gregory K. Stone, 24, of Connecticut will have a January 6th charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol continued without a finding for one year on the condition he forfeit his license for 45 days, complete a driver alcohol education course, pay $600 in fees, and pay an amount in restitution to be determined. A charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle stemming from the same incident was dismissed.
