This week's Current Court Report includes dispositions from Monday's Nantucket District Court session as well as arraignments and dispositions from last week's session.

Yoaris Manuel Eustate Alvarado, the island resident who was arraigned in court on Friday on charges that allege he conducted a home invasion and threatened an individual with a BB gun, had his dangerousness hearing moved to Wednesday, April 26, after the court was unable to get a translator for the hearing.

After being continued without a finding for one year, Susan Kraft-Bowen, 58, of Nantucket, had a March 26, 2022 charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol dismissed.

Damion Dwayne Brown, 39, of Centerville, was arraigned on an Oct. 13, 2022 charge of larceny under $1,200. He had a not-guilty plea entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court June 12 for a pretrial hearing.

Russell Burns, 34, of Nantucket, was arraigned on April 15 charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and two counts of possessing a class B drug (cocaine and MDMA, also known as ecstasy). He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court May 15 for a pretrial hearing.

Roberto Chacon, 26, of Nantucket, was arraigned on April 17 charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court June 26 for a pretrial hearing.

Angel Chavez Vasquez, 34, of Nantucket, was arraigned on an April 8 charge of assault and battery on a family/household member. He had a not-guilty plea entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court June 26 for a pretrial hearing.
