Current Court Report – August 27, 2024

This week’s Current Court Report includes arraignments and dispositions from Monday’s Nantucket District Court session.

After completing three months of pretrial probation, Concepcion Benitez-Molina, 60, of Nantucket had a March 27 charge of trespassing dismissed.

After being continued without a finding for one year, Donna D. Buchanan, 65, of Nantucket had a July 13, 2023 charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle dismissed.

Angel Gabriel Deras Mejia, 30, of Nantucket was arraigned on an Aug. 24 charge of assault & battery on a family/household member. He had a not-guilty plea entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court Sept. 3 for a pretrial hearing.

After being continued without a finding for six months, Jose Antonio Chavez Regalado, 24, of Nantucket had Dec. 17, 2023 charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, failing to stop/yield, and speeding dismissed.

William Matthew Suddarth, 43, of Warrenton, Virginia was arraigned on an Aug. 26 charge of assault & battery on a family/household member. He had a not-guilty plea entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court Nov. 4 for a pretrial hearing.
