There was no Nantucket District Court this week due to Nantucket Superior Court, however there were several cases last week during the District Court's jury trial assignment week.

Samir Bonomo, 48, of Nantucket had Sept. 2 charges of assault & battery and disorderly conduct dismissed after the Cape & Islands District Attorney’s Office declined to move forward with the case after the alleged victim refused to testify.

Alesander De La Cruz Jorge, 20, of Nantucket had a Dec. 17, 2022 charge of larceny by check over $1,200 dismissed as well as Feb. 2 charges of larceny over $1,200 by a single cheme, forgery of a check (four charges), and uttering a false check (four charges) dismissed.

William Dell’Erba, 31, of Nantucket had a June 26 charge of assault & battery on a family/household member dismissed after the Cape & Islands District Attorney’s Office declined to move forward following the alleged victim’s refusal to testify.

Robinson Germosen, 41, of Nantucket had a Sept. 4, 2022 charge of assault & battery on a family/household member dismissed after the Cape & Islands District Attorney’s Office declined to move forward with the case after the alleged victim refused to testify.

Melvin Alexander Mata-Portillo, 47, of Nantucket will have a May 30 charge of assault & battery on a family/household member continued without a finding for six months on the condition he complete the probation without a violation. A charge of violating an abuse prevention order was dismissed.

Dunia Ramirez-Perez, 41, of Nantucket will have a Sept. 16, 2021 charge of assault & battery on a family/household member continued without a finding for six months on the condition the probation is completed without a violation. A charge of assault with a dangerous weapon and two charges of malicious destruction of property under $1,200 were dismissed.

Raheem Emelle Spence, 25, of Nantucket will have an Aug. 16, 2022 charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle continued without a finding for one year on the condition he complete his probation without a violation. A charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol stemming from the same incident was dismissed.

Andrew Stewart, 42, of Nantucket was found NOT GUILTY on Nov. 18, 2022 charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
