Current Court Report - December 20, 2023

This week’s Current Court Report includes arraignments and dispositions from Monday’s Nantucket District Court session.

Cristino Lemus, 45, of Nantucket was arraigned on two May 6 charges of indecent assault & battery on a child under 14 years old. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court Feb. 9 for a pretrial hearing.

The Current received and reviewed the police reports filed to the court but opted against releasing the details to protect the identity of the alleged victims.

John Hawkins, 62, of Nantucket was arraigned on Oct. 16 charges of leaving the scene of property damage and failure to stop/yield. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court Jan. 8 for a pretrial hearing.

Mason Alexander Lavallee, 31, of Nantucket was arraigned on a Sept. 10 charge of possessing a Class B drug. He had a not-guilty plea entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court Feb. 12 for a pretrial hearing.

Elmer G. Lemus-Bonilla, 51, of Nantucket was arraigned on Dec. 14 charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, speeding, and a marked lanes violation. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court Feb. 12 for a pretrial hearing.

Heriberto A. Mancia-Lemus, 24, of Nantucket was arraigned on Dec. 12 charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol (second offense), negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and a marked lanes violation. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court Feb. 9 for a pretrial hearing.

Shinelle Rodriguez, 28, of Nantucket was arraigned on a Dec. 17 charge of assault & battery. She had a not-guilty plea entered on her behalf and was ordered to return to court Feb. 20 for a pretrial hearing.
