This week’s Current Court Report includes arraignments and dispositions from the Monday Nantucket District Court session.

Hugo E. Interiano Tejada, 39, of Nantucket was arraigned on a December 17th charge of assault & battery on a family/household member. He had a not-guilty plea entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court January 20th, 2026 for a pretrial hearing.

After completing four months of pretrial probation, Jose Rafael Montoya Hercules, 29, of Nantucket had a December 23rd, 2024 charge of breaking and entering for a misdemeanor dismissed.

Jeremy F. Slavitz, 55, of Nantucket will have a November 30th charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol continued without a finding for one year on the condition he forfeit his license for 45 days, complete a driver alcohol education program, and pay $600 in fees. A charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle stemming from the same incident was dismissed and he was found not responsible on charges of possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and failure to yield at an intersection.

Kevin George Young, 51, of Nantucket was arraigned on December 21stcharges of assault & battery on a family/household member, assault with a dangerous weapon, intimidating a witness/juror/police/court official, and threatening to commit a crime. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court January 20th, 2026 for a pretrial hearing.

Current Crime
