Current Court Report - December 30, 2025

This week’s Current Court Report includes arraignments and dispositions from the Monday Nantucket District Court session.

Oliberto Esteban Gregorio, 32, of Nantucket was arraigned on November 12^thcharges of leaving the scene of property damage, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and a marked lanes violation. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court January 20^th, 2026 for a pretrial hearing.

Kevin D. Ryan, 71, of Nantucket, is expected to have two December 15^th charges of leaving the scene of property damage, one charge of resisting arrest, and one charge of assault & battery with a dangerous weapon continued without a finding for one year. A post-disposition session was scheduled for Wednesday, December 31^st to finalize the plea deal. Ryan was the individual in a “low-speed chase” across the island earlier this month.

Jason E. Thomas, 49, of Nantucket was arraigned on December 26^th charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court January 20^th, 2026 for a pretrial hearing.

After being continued without a finding for one year, Wayne Young, 56, of Nantucket had an April 10^th, 2024 charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol dismissed.
