This week’s Current Court Report includes arraignments and dispositions from the Monday and Tuesday Nantucket District Court sessions.

After being continued without a finding for one year, Ricardo Jesus Calderon Guevara, 25, of Nantucket had a September 21st, 2024 charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle dismissed.

Galisa M. Francis, 36, of Nantucket pleaded guilty to an August 14th charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle and will have a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license (subsequent offense) continued without a finding for one year. A crosswalk violation stemming from the same incident was dismissed.

After being continued without a finding for one year, Juan H. Vasquez-Villalta, 27, of Nantucket had a November 26th, 2024 charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle dismissed and after completing two years of probation on an April 13th, 2023 charge of assault & battery, Vasquez-Villalta also had that charge dismissed.

Vasquez-Villalta also completed one year of probation following a guilty plea to a May 24th, 2024 charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, and the case was closed and probation was terminated.
