This week’s Current Court Report includes arraignments and dispositions from the Monday and Tuesday Nantucket District Court sessions.

After being continued without a finding for one year and three months, Eugene T. Butler, 45, of Nantucket had a May 15th, 2024 charge of resisting arrest dismissed.

Scott Maguire Estill
, 51, of Nantucket was arraigned on July 20th charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and speeding. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court Sept. 8th for a pretrial hearing.

Arquimides Chacon Landaverde
, 33, of Nantucket will have Dec. 24th, 2024 charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and negligent operation of a motor vehicle continued without a finding for six months on the condition he complete his probation without a violation, pay $600 in fees, complete a driver alcohol education program, and forfeit his license for 45 days.

A charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle was dismissed and he was found not responsible on charges of possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and a marked lanes violation stemming from the same incident.

After pleading guilty and completing one year of probation on Feb. 21st, 2024 charges of larceny under $1,200, possessing a Class B drug (subsequent offense), shoplifting by concealing merchandise, and identity fraud, the probation was terminated and the case against Patrick William Gardner, 37, was closed.

David Francis Girard
, 29, of Nantucket had a one year sentence imposed on Aug. 13, 2021 charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and negligent operation of a motor vehicle after numerous probation violation hearings. He was credited with 72 days served already, and the charges have been disposed of and the case is closed following the sentencing.

Concepcion Benitez Molina
, 61, of Nantucket was arraigned on a July 19thcharge of trespassing. He had a not-guilty plea entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court Aug. 19th for a pretrial hearing.

After pleading guilty and completing one year of probation on November 15th, 2023 charges of a fishing/wildlife violation, possessing a firearm without an FID card, and hunting/fishing in closed season, the probation was terminated and the case against Gregory M. Moore, 63, of Nantucket was closed.

Brianna R. Palmerson
, 35, of Nantucket was arraigned on July 16th charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of property damage, and a lights violation. She had not-guilty pleas entered on her behalf and was ordered to return to court Sept. 15th for a pretrial hearing.

Kenneth R. Reed
, 73, of Nantucket will have Jan. 6th charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle and a marked lanes violation continued without a finding for one year on the condition he complete his probation without a violation and pay an amount in restitution to be determined at a later date.

Juan Jose Flores Sola
, 31, of Nantucket was arraigned on July 19th charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and a marked lanes violation. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court Aug. 25th for a pretrial hearing.
