This week’s Current Court Report includes arraignments and dispositions from Monday’s Nantucket District Court session.
Philip Albertson, 53, of Nantucket, was arraigned on June 9 charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court July 26 for a pretrial hearing.
Daniel Alper, 25, of Boston, was arraigned on April 29 charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle and leaving the scene of property damage. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court July 26 for a pretrial hearing.
After completing one year of probation on a guilty plea, Jermaine Fearon, 23, of Centerville, had that probation terminated that he was serving on an Oct. 31, 2018 charge of assault and battery.
Taylor Gueorguiev, 21, of Nantucket, will have a May 26 charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol continued without a finding for one year. He was ordered to forfeit his license for 45 days, complete a driver alcohol education program, pay a $250 head-injury fee, and pay a $50 victim-witness fee.
Charges of possessing a class E drug and negligent operation of a motor vehicle stemming from the same incident were dismissed.
Bennett Simon Locke, 33, of Braintree, had an April 25, 2022 charge of vandalizing property dismissed after paying $1,017 in restitution.
Mario Pleitez, 40, of Nantucket, was arraigned on a Dec. 9, 2022 charge of reckless operation of a motor vehicle. He had a not-guilty plea entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court July 26 for a pretrial hearing.
Garry Sanders, 45, of Nantucket, was arraigned on June 11 charges of resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was released on $500 cash bail. Sanders was ordered to return to court July 24 for a pretrial hearing.
