This week’s Current Court Report includes arraignments and dispositions from the Monday and Tuesday Nantucket District Court sessions.
Nelson A. Hernandez, 47, of Nantucket was arraigned on a June 22nd charge of assault & battery on a family/household member. He had a not-guilty plea entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court July 6th for a pretrial hearing.
Robert A. Holmes Jr., 33, of Nantucket will have a December 22nd, 2025 charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle continued without a finding for one year on the condition he complete one year of probation without a violation. Charges of speeding, possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, and a marked lanes violation stemming from the same incident were dismissed.
Miguel A. Narvaez, 37, of Nantucket will have a May 2nd, 2026 charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol continued without a finding for one year on the condition he forfeit his license for 45 days, complete a driver alcohol education course, and pay $600 in fees. Charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, a marked lanes violation, and possession of a Class B drug stemming from the same incident dismissed.
Frederico Pereira De Paula, 35, of Nantucket had October 15th, 2025 charges of possessing a Class B drug, license plate violation, and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle dismissed.
Wanderson Rodrigues Maciel, 35, of Nantucket will have a May 6th charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol continued without a finding for one year on the condition he forfeit his license for 45 days, complete a driver alcohol education program, and pay $600 in fees. Charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle and a marked lanes violation stemming from the same incident dismissed.
Hector Osvaldo Medina Del Rosario, 44, of Nantucket was arraigned on June 21st charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and a marked lanes violation. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court July 6th for a pretrial hearing.
Elmer Ivan Tejada Guevara, 30, of Nantucket had May 14th charges of possessing a Class B drug, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and operating a motor vehicle without an inspection sticker dismissed.
Jose Lemus Tejada, 28, of Nantucket was arraigned on June 18th charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and possessing an open container of alcohol while operating a motor vehicle. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court July 6th for a pretrial hearing.
Kemar N. Thompson, 30, of Nantucket was arraigned on a June 18th charge of assault & battery on a family/household member. He had a not-guilty plea entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court July 27th for a pretrial hearing.
