This week’s Current Court Report includes arraignments and dispositions from the Monday and Tuesday Nantucket District Court sessions.

Laurence J. Boyd
, 49, of Nantucket had Nov. 1st, 2024 charges of assault with a dangerous weapon and threatening to commit a crime dismissed due to lack of prosecution after the alleged victim in the case declined to cooperate with prosecutors.

William Stephen Cowzer
, 54, of Nantucket was arraigned on a June 14thcharge of assault & battery on a family/household member. He had a not-guilty plea entered on his behalf and will have the charge dismissed on the condition he complete three months of pretrial probation.

Vincent G. Goulding
, 26, of Nantucket was arraigned on March 7th charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of property damage, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and a license plate violation. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court July 14th for a pretrial hearing.

After being continued without a finding for one year, Beth Ann Hampshire, 67, of Indiana had a Jan. 26th, 2024 charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle dismissed.

After being continued without a finding for one year, Elmer G. Lemus Bonilla, 52, of Nantucket had Dec. 14th, 2023 charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and negligent operation of a motor vehicle dismissed.

Daniel Omar Ramirez Maldonado
, 41, of Nantucket was arraigned on June 14th charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, failure to wear a seatbelt, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court July 14th for a pretrial hearing.

Alexander Patrick Ryan
, 32, of Nantucket was arraigned on June 15thcharges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, a motor vehicle lights violation, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court July 14th for a pretrial hearing.
