This week's Current Court Report includes arraignments and dispositions from Monday's Nantucket District Court session.

Elmer Lemus-Bonilla, 51, of Nantucket, will have Dec. 14, 2023 charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and negligent operation of a motor vehicle continued without a finding for one year on the condition he complete his probation without a violation and complete a driver alcohol education program. Lemus-Bonilla was found not responsible on charges of speeding and a marked lanes violation stemming from the same incident.

Walter E. Lopez-Castro, 45, of Nantucket, was arraigned on a June 20 charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license for an OUI. He had a not-guilty plea entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court July 8 for a pretrial hearing.

Beth Ann Hampshire, 66, of Logan's Port, Indiana, pleaded guilty to a Jan. 26 charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle and was ordered to complete one year of probation as well as a driver-alcohol education program. A charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol stemming from the same incident was dismissed as part of the plea deal and Hampshire was found not responsible for an equipment violation.

Daniel Henry, 49, of South Carolina, will have a Sept. 2, 2023 charge of violating an abuse prevention order continued without a finding for three months on the condition he complete his probation without a violation.

Ramone Desmond Nugent, 35, of Nantucket, was arraigned on a June 21 charge of assault & battery. He had a not-guilty plea entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court Aug. 20 for a pretrial hearing.

Eric Miguel Gotay Rodriguez, 26, of Nantucket, was arraigned on a May 29 charge of assault & battery with a dangerous weapon. He had a not-guilty plea entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court July 22 for a pretrial hearing.
