Current Court Report - March 22, 2023

This week's Current Court Report includes arraignments and dispositions from Monday's Nantucket District Court session.

Niall Casey, 52, of Nantucket, will have a Feb. 23 charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol continued without a finding for one year on the condition he pay a $250 head-injury fee, $50 OUI assessment fee, forfeit his license for 45 days, complete a driver alcohol education program, and a drug/alcohol assessment (24Q).

A charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle stemming from the same incident was dismissed.

Douglas H. Gutteridge, 61, of Rindge, NH, was arraigned on March 18 charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol (second offense), negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and failure to keep right on an obstructed view. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court April 26 for a pretrial hearing.
