This week’s Current Court Report includes arraignments and dispositions from the Monday Nantucket District Court session. This is the first district court session in three weeks while the Nantucket Superior Court held their May session.

Joshua Beckford
, 53, of Nantucket will have a November 14th, 17th, 18th, and 19th charges of larceny under4 $1,200 continued without a finding for six months on the condition he pay restitution to the victims. A December 3rd, 2025 charge of shoplifting by asportation was dismissed as part of the plea.

After being continued without a finding for six months, Jonathan Alexander Benitez Menjivar, 29, of Nantucket had July 8th, 2025 charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle and a marked lanes violation dismissed.

John M. Brogan
, 67, of Nantucket was arraigned on May 1st charges of possessing a Class C drug, operating a motor vehicle without an inspection sticker, and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court July 27thfor a pretrial hearing.

After being continued without a finding for five months, Sean Francis Farnam, 36, of Nantucket had a December 30th, 2021 charge of violating an abuse prevention order dismissed.

After being continued without a finding for six months, Kenia Garcia Vasquez, 48, of Nantucket had December 29th, 2024 charges of leaving the scene of property damage, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle dismissed.

Yasael Gonzalez Hernandez
, 27, of Nantucket will have a November 1st, 2025 charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol continued without a finding for one year on the condition he complete a driver alcohol education course, pay $600 in fees, forfeit his license for 45 days, and complete the probation without any violations.

Charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and improper operation of a motor vehicle stemming from the same incident were dismissed.

, 36, of Nantucket was arraigned on May 3rdcharges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, a marked lanes violation, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. She had not-guilty pleas entered on her behalf and was ordered to return to court June 22nd for a pretrial hearing.

, 22, of Nantucket was arraigned on charges of failure to stop for police, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, speeding, marked lanes violation, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and a motorcycle helmet violation. , 67, of Nantucket had May 31st, 2025 charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, a marked lanes violation, failure to stop/yield, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle dismissed under the Valor Act, which allows the court to dismiss charges against a military veteran for first time offenses.

, 37, of Nantucket was arraigned on May 2nd charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, marked lanes violation, and possessing a class B drug. He had not-guilty pleas entered on his behalf and was ordered to return to court June 22nd for a pretrial hearing.
